One of the few young journalists who writes with the experience of age

Jordan Novack is southern California born and bred and attends Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT as an Advertising and Integrated Communications major, with a Journalism minor. He is passionate about sports – all sports – but particularly soccer, MMA professional wrestling, college and professional football, college and professional hockey.

Jordan is a Fight Pass Digital Intern for the Ultimate Fighting Championships (UFC) in Las Vegas, as well as the former Associate Sports Editor, women’s hockey beat writer and a photographer for the Quinnipiac Chronicle. He formally covered the Los Angeles Kings and Tampa Bay Lightning beat for www.AlongtheBoards.com. Additionally, Jordan covered the Pittsburgh Pirates for www.TriplePlayTribune.com. He covered the Donald Sterling scandal for the Jewish Journal of Los Angeles during his internship for the paper, with the story being picked up by Yahoo! Sports.

A stats hound, from a young age, Jordan has great retention for names, statistics, records, plays, and the history of sport, and draws upon that background and historical knowledge to add color to his writing.

Jordan’s preferences are columns, features, and recaps, but he is also adept at recounting play-by-play and sports reporting. Additionally, Jordan has developed skills both as a photographer, and a videographer. Writing with a sense of humor, to truly capture the personality of his subjects and making his piece memorable are Jordan’s strengths.

In his free time, Jordan frequents Reddit, UFC Fight Pass, Netflix, the WWE Network, The Ringer, and ESPNfc. He plans to pursue a career as a columnist similar to his role model, Bill Simmons, write on the creative team for a Professional Wrestling promotion, or venture into the realms of Public Relations.
